MGF and the Department of Health, Safe Drinking Water Branch and Clean Water Branch, have worked together to revise Ohia Project Curriculum lessons that cover water. These water lessons have been revised to include up-to-date information with an emphasis on groundwater, groundwater conservation, groundwater pollution, and groundwater education. The lessons also cover the water cycle, hydrology and geology of Hawaii, the importance of watersheds, water rights, and other water topics. New activities have been introduced such as role playing in watershed alliances, measuring the rain, desalination, and revegetating the island of Kahoolawe.
